Easter morning is always eventful at our house. Between eating breakfast, hunting for eggs, preparing food, and four females getting ready, there is never a dull moment!
This year, after going, and getting back from church, we had lunch with my Gramma and Pop Pop. Before the food could be consumed, however, the kitchen became a flurry of activity as ham and cheesy potatoes cooked and a brownie cross was frosted. Before too long, though, everything sat waiting in the dining room and we realized (to no ones dismay :) that the desserts outnumber the rest of the food-
Around dinner time, we headed over to my Meemaw and Paw Paw's house for dinner and another easter egg hunt.
The day was joyfully celebrated!
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned. . ." John 3:16-18a

This year my Mom and sisters got creative with dinner on April 1st. The menu consisted of sushi, pizza, and eggs, although not the kind you are probably picturing.
The "sushi" was made of rice crispy treats, gummy worms, and fruit roll-ups.
The "pizza"was made of pie crust, cherry jelly, coconut, green dots, and fruit roll-ups.
The "eggs" were made of apricots and a rubbery butter/marshmallow mixture. What a sweet dinner! Happy April Fool's Day! ~Megan
