first thing I often see is dark
invaded by glaring alarm
I squint
get up and outwardly ready for day
still inwardly dim
what I'd like to see first
is pictured above
an aspiration
I have
trouble attaining
but I took this picture
one morning
in dark
happy with
the light
pictures can lie
illuminating only part
yet
they can reveal the perspective
you want

May God grant that desire of your heart to make the first thing the first thing. Praise to Him for His mercy with our weaknesses. He knows our frame, that we are dust.
